#tit4tat I get a lot of information by reading the comments already given. I have no idea how you create the music here. I like it, the beat and blend of instruments. But the comments are educational for me.
Mmm, there's those drums.
You could play twinkle twinkle little star on top of those drums and I'll vibe.
But instead of a nursery rhyme, we get this funky grooving bass.
Love the bending starting on the phrases at :39, and pairing that with the thumpier part of that phrases - dat's nice.
Just cool riffs all over the place, motifs that snap ye olde neck.
I'm trying to play video games but I keep stopping to curl my lip and nose up.
Dang, that is a real nice guitar riff, and the bass through the octaver sounds awesome. So who does what here, are you a solo cat in a home studio like the rest of us?
Damn dude, I know how hard you've been focusing on that slap bass and it really pays dividends here. I too have never heard of neo surf, but this is a neo surf classic for sure
What a groove, when the bass started I was thinking this could be a bit Faith No More but the guitars and drums dispelled that theory. Loved the effect you have on that guitar.
Love the sound - so electric in its slappiness and twanginess. I feel you're playing this piece on an electric fence, in a world of oranges, yellows and purples.
Oh wow when that drum started in it had me hooked instantly :) The bass was bad enough, but the drum hit the spot musically.
From there on in it was like eating a whole 500ml tub of strawberry cheesecake Hagen Daz in 3mins 20secs :) :) :)
The bass came to say hi - super funky, and I love it when you paired it with the duh-duh-duh guitar sections (sorry for lack of terminology, basically the ones in the intro lol)
I love your mish-mash of influences. Dig how the raunchy Gang of Four bass tone at the start yields to the hip hop beat and then a great unexpected guitar melody. Good stuff!
Taking notes. I do like the feel of this track; what strikes me the most is the tone and how the bass is mixed in the back. Though this piece has kind of a dark edge, there's a little something more going on.

Cool bass playing. The guitars sounds great! Love the harmony. The pitch bending is really trippy. This song is a total vibe. #tit4tat
@williamjames Mar 2022
The lead guitar is amazingly psychedelic and unexpected, from the tone to the unusual melodies! The bass grooves like no other! An amazing listen!
@mosley Feb 2022
Nice! I dig the bassline and the guitar lead is awesome, I totally dig your guitar sound aesthetic man, far out tones in my favorite kind of ways!
@coolparadiso Feb 2022
Tit4tat But nice messing! Thats a catchy upfront hook! Has a cool funky feel. Very tight again! And a holding bass! Yay very nicr.

Fantastic. Spacey and funky with bass that would do the Ohio Players proud.
@andyt13 Feb 2022
Oh yes! The funk!

@coolparadiso Feb 2022

@george Feb 2022

That bass line really does hit though. Great rhythms.
@thefuneralcrasher Feb 2022
V cool track…bass and guitar interplay is great.
@scubed Feb 2022
Love all the different textures wrapped around the funky groove!
@raspberry33 Feb 2022
Funky! Great as an instrumental, but could envision adding lyrics. Or as a soundtrack for a long drive along a neon highway.
@womanaclef Feb 2022
I really like the way the bass grounds the jazzy, lighter notes. Great beat . Do u have lyrics in mind???

You send this to D? If no other fawmers snag it up we should slap this bad boy on the next album.
@davidtaro Feb 2022
That is one tasty serving of slap bass man!! Just what I needed this morning. I hope someone grabs this, otherwise I’m going to have to…
@engebretsen Feb 2022

Bass is shaking entire body.
