From the 'dislocated finger' guitar session, 3-Feb-2022.
Without the use of the pinky on the fingering hand, went ahead and laid down 13 guitar parts.
Schecter Diamond Series Guitar. Caline Gale Force Dyna Compressor, British Sound, Puffer Fuzz, Splitter with Behringer UV300 Vibrato on the left, then L/R Caline Time Force Echo Delays, and ART Tube MP pre-amps; Tascam DR-40x Recorder.
For these first 9 songs, rapidly prototyped in Renoise, then some details added after the vocal sessions (4-5 Feb 2022).
what if the sky fell tomorrow
would it bring joy or sorrow
or perchance something in between
do you know what it means
to be alive
in the shadow of the rainbow chimes
somewhere in the blue distance
are those forgotten crystal caves
sublime
met a gal named jennifer
swore to make her mine
then one day it dawned on me
how fates might intertwine
suicide king
doesn't mean anything
save for the changing of the guard
a prince or a princess steps up
and assembles a semi cosmic vanguard

This at its heart is quite a dreamy floaty ballad of sorts. I'm loving the unrelenting bassline, and how it all just almost comes crashing down towards the end with the extra drums/etc. That was a really catchy groove that had my hypnotized for a while.

my first impression was that this is noise-blues, a genre I've never heard before! I'm not sure it is blues now, but there are certainly some bluesy classic licks in here amid the dirty synth pulse. I think this is quite odd, but I mean that in the best way - I've really never heard anything quite like it and I always enjoy hearing something new, or different. The guitar lines sound great, and submerged underneath the noisy synth something really interesting is created. the whole sound is really something else. I enjoyed this a lot, super creative and inventive
