English translation (below)

When I was eight I went tobogganing. The sun was shining, there was a lot of snow. Unfortunately I injured myself doing it. Suddenly everything went black.
"Someday I'll go home, I'll go home again"
My vision went black, the sounds around me disappeared and I felt this deep joy and happiness.
"Someday I'll go home, I'll go home again"
Have you ever been on a long journey and longed for your grandma, your father or your pets? That's exactly how it felt for me in that moment, only a thousand times as strong.
"Someday I'll go home, I'll go home again.
But until then I have a really good time "

also I can kind of imagine this song in a psychedelic rock n roll version.

This is really restful (and spiritual), despite the rather dramatic events it describes. The refrain is very beautiful and, as other have rightly said, contrasts so well with the spoken sections. Well done!

I love the spoken word story parts of this and then the lovely shift to the sung parts.

I love the story and how the third verse turns to the audience and makes the story universal. Well done!

I liked the alternation between the spoken and sung bits :)
