The other night I watched "The Rescue" documentary, a powerful story of how the young Thai soccer team and assistant coach were rescued from the flooded caves. I was moved beyond words. They were put into a deep sleep state for safe passage through the many chambers to safety. I thought about what the experience of sleeping while moving through water might be, and came up with this soundscape. It's rough and has extraneous background sounds. Maybe that's the cave wishing them well. This was recorded on 2 iPhones and a bluetooth speaker, tools at hand at the moment.

Thanks for the backstory, it helps to put an image to the music. I like the vocalizations. This is so simple, yet there's a lot there. I like that it's just piano and voice recorded with a phone, yet it sounds good, very listenable.

Lovely piece, filled with a comfortable tension. Excellent use of the space defined by the spare piano figure.
