@frozenlonesome Thanks. I've built my modular to serve for this kind of "traditional synth" purpose. I do not have any sequencer modules or such for stand-alone generative patches, just Vermona MIDI-to-CV module and sequencing from Bitwig. I could do multi-channel patches (up to four MIDI channels), but I've found out it has more drawbacks than benefits.
Oh yeah, here we go! That panning almost vocoder sound is a great rhythm element. Nice arpeggiation / falling line around 1:30. Great samples, a fun one and you've inspired me to tear down my last patch and build anew! Thanks for the ride!
This sounds like one of those tunes you hear at a rave that you don't remember afterwards but as soon as you hear it again you are back at the rave. That was such a long sentence but you get the point, this is sweet!
Really like this track. Interesting to read your reply to @mikepalmu about your process. Having purposely avoided the modular rabbit hole, I never considered the process of building and tearing down patches for different sounds.
For quick FAWM tracks, I often use generative mid apps to drive my hardware and iOS synths. Building my tracks almost entirely with a looper or with Korg Gadget 2 , an iOS groove box.
@mikepalmu Thanks! Modular helps quite a lot from mind-set point of view. I make a patch, record it and then I have to dismantle the patch to make something else. That way I'm forced to commit to sound choices and cannot get stuck on tweaking everything ad nauseam.
Absolutely astounding how you can put together a track like this in couple days. Must have something to do with the toys your're using. To be honest it would take at least a week for me everyday work and it would still be far from this. Because you are able to keep it consistent too. It's not just random clips glued together, it's magic.

WOw. And Again: Wow! This is awesome. Right into my DJ set. With Sphongle, Fluke etc. Extremely well done!

Miten sait R2-D2n vokalistiksi? Kylläpä oli tanssittava jenkka.

I'm surprised at how *good* modular can sound sometimes.

Kovaa tamppausta. Hauska tuon joltain vokaalisynteesiltä kuulostava soundi.

Love that synth sequence in the beginning. Nice driving beat. The dialogue is great addition. I need glowsticks!!
