I just found the skirmish.. and started working on it. It's 8.48 here. I've written this "Live" - you'll see what I mean if you watch the video. It's completely unedited by my head.. so a kind of nonsense but not quite lyric.
Here we go this is the challenge:
Choose five of the following words to incorporate into your lyric:
bite born canary death dig open sick stop teeth tongue uglier wobbly yummy
Well I dig canaries
Yellow birds
Of song
And I play
On my piano
And it seems they
Come along
- Yellow, yellow bird!!
And I was born
In a conundrum
YEah! Born under the sun!
And I do as I please
And do not please everyone.
Everyone come together.
- come together right now over me.
And it's open its always open.
But you need to have the key.
The password's
"LEt me in!"
But said silently!
Silence yeah ... shhhhhhh
Be quiet!
Silence yeah..
So I write songs that tell the answers
And I will never stop.
And in between the words
And the questions that you've got.
An if all of life's a riddle
Than riddle right along
Cause riddling's a bit like dancing
Dancing to a song.
C'mon and dance.

You wrote this in 9 minutes! That is crazy. This is fun and wild. I think you could turn it into multiple lyrics using each verse. I was tapping my toes as I watched you type away. I loved watching the process. I could never come up with anything this quickly. Amazing.

I like the stream of consciousness of this. Gets you to places you wouldn’t go otherwise. I think there’s a song to be discovered in the line “born in a conundrum” it has a really evocative sense and sound. What kind of connindrum? Is it circumstance or maybe the differences between two the two parents? Maybe the figurative angel snd devil on your shoulder. I also like “riddling’s like dancing” I hear fiddle and see s jig.
