Sometimes, you know, it's important to do something unlike what you normally do, just for the experience and/or practice.
Here we have zero phat basses, limited to no saw waves, a complete lack of drums or drum like things, and only one sample that has been stretched to oblivion. At a pace reminiscent of a stroll while you check your phone for messages in case someone sent some but probably didn't but you never know, keep scrolling.
It's fine. It's all fine. Don't worry. No one dies.
(For those not in the states - a Denny's is what I regard as a fairly nondescript breakfast diner that tastes completely and unapologetically plain and pizzazz free. That said: when you need it, it's a damn fine bit of comfort food).

Nice.

Whoa—the bass on this goes way, WAY down! Those subsonics are really going to wake you up on a grey Thursday morning, take it from me. I was wondering about the title until the off-kilter pan-pipes appeared, and then it all made perfect sense.
And I'm laughing at the description of Denny's in the liner notes; some mates of mine used to describe eating there as "collecting lard miles."

One simply cannot see this title and not click. Denny's is great after 1AM when you're on the road in the middle of nowhere. Ha. I greatly enjoyed the melodic journey on this tune! I definitely wasn't expecting much of it, but it all works somehow. Must be the dinosaurs. Nicely done!

Immediately here for the title, stayed for the slightly ominous musical liminal space. This is the evisceration of a denny's in slow motion, probably at 3am, and maybe in this dimension or another just out of whack with ours. I really enjoyed the development, it opens out into some really unexpected motifs. Cool to hear more of your work!
