Here's my first experimental instrumental for the month. It's f*cking weird but I kind of like it.
I pulled a samples, messed with them some by throwing on some effects and messed with the panning so things move from left to right a bunch. Then I threw in a midi guitar playing a note or two randomly throughout to give it and slightly off feeling.
Oh the drums are from Emily Drums, I honestly chose them at random after picking a few of the samples.
@srcoops Feb 2022
Wow! This reminds me of the space gun toy I gave zecoop. fun and interesting.
@audrey Feb 2022
Interesting piece of music. Would work well in a sci fi movie.
@boycetown Feb 2022
Really cool. Love these. I'd personally prefer a little less variation of motif/sequences, or I guess more repetition of specific phrases. Like creating some badass glitch hook and repeating it every now and then. But I guess you only had a minute.
@mctown Feb 2022
I piddle with garageband at times... always interesting... I tend to prefer songs that have lyrics on the whole... Good skirmishinig...David

Oh, this is such a vibe. I’m standing in my kitchen grooving to it while waiting for the timer on my bread to be done. It’s got such a great mixture of resonance and dissonance!
@erbaer Feb 2022
Great soundscape. Loved the insistent beat throughout and the bending bells/ chimes in the chorus.
@audrey Feb 2022
This has a bit of a magical feel to it. I like it a lot. It would work well in a movie scene about a character discovering shehe had magical powers. (at least that's where this piece sent my imagination). :)
@n24 Feb 2022
This is so cool! I really dig that sort of stuttering effect (I’m to much of a rube to know the actual word!) super atmospheric and I really like some of those bit-crushed sounds! (Again that may not be the right term :p)
@theodamus Feb 2022
This is really interesting! Some super cool shifts and twists, just to keep the listener a little off balance - but it never feels out of control, it's safe to just buckle in and enjoy the experience! Cool skirmish :D
@stuartbenbow Feb 2022
Ok, quirky, but very cool. Really digging this jam, well done!
@gm7 Feb 2022
Wow I love that change just before the end...that's at 1.04 cool
Big deep kick drum thumping away fits well
@bachelorb Feb 2022
Love those deep drums!!! This would be a great dance song!!
@scubed Feb 2022
Oh, this sounds so cool - and definitely feels off-balance. Great skirmishing!
@vivalarayna Feb 2022
The weird works! I like it. Sadly, I know nothing about this type of production, so I can't provide any feedback there, but you kept me interested!
@mikehex Feb 2022
Yeah, pretty weird... I like it too
@kevinmason Feb 2022
Super cool sound, wow. Very unique and really fun to listen to. I don't hear enough stuff like this on here!
@kahlo2013 Feb 2022
What I love about this is the wonderfully placed juxtaposition of balanced flow of melody and rhythm lines with the interjections of intriguing and wonderful surprises that remind us that perfect balance all the time would grow monotonous over time.
@andygetch Feb 2022
Yes its weird. Catchy though. Like background music in a movie where something bizarre is about to happen.
@keithcuts Feb 2022
alright this is a fun instrumental track.
cool things going on with the synth sounds and panning balance.
the movement is evident.
nice
@sorby69 Feb 2022
I love this - so playful and fun - with a hint of pathos or melancholly
@coolparadiso Feb 2022
i like that kind of weird - sounds like filling the kettle at the start - but it moves around enough to give some balance - its good and interesting good skirmish
@darcistrutt Feb 2022
This definitely has me off-balance. It makes my brain smile to feel it running from ear to ear. It was cool!
@nadine Feb 2022
Oh yes this is experimental. I like the weird combination of sounds and effects. Panning us a bit heavy but I can hear the synths talking.
