I started this one in 50/90 and put it away as an unfinished song. I think I was going to try and get someone else to do the vocals and I needed to fix some of the tracks. I have done the vocals myself now and redid the bass and added the lead guitar - so almost a February song.
This is my attempt at some sultry jazz style and I had fun playing the piano parts - no idea what I played or how.
Thank you for listening and for any comments you leave - just aware I'm not good at responding in a timely manner...

You got me running circles
I don’t know who I am
I’m turning I’m yearning
Without any plan
The things you do oh so cruel
Why did you pick on me
You take me high
You drop me low
Is this my destiny

Why don’t you explain
The 6 tricks of your love
Make me fall for you again
With the 6 tricks of your love
Oh, you’re dirty and evil
But I’d fall just the same
I’d follow you anywhere
Just whisper my name
Vs
The way you look at me
Just does something to my soul
But you just use me up
You’re in control
I feel the love I feel the pain
I feel like I’ll never be the same
The cold shivers I get
When I hear your name.

You got the jazzy sulty vibe alright :). What are the 6 six tricks! I have to know now. Some nice phrases -
cold shivers, break your spell, whisper my name, high/low, to name a few.

The bass line is fun! The jazz piano adds a lot in the background. It's a nice mix. I enjoyed the guitar solo. It was a nice change-up. The whisper under the word 'whisper' is magical.

Love the style and I think that your decision to sing it yourself brings a nice character to the song. I can see this working well with a silk-smooth croon, but I think the dichotomy of your voice against the instruments give it an element that wouldn't be there with a technically perfect singer.

Ooh shades of grey x 6 :)
I love the juxtaposition between the sultry jazz rhythm and the lyrical melody and story telling.

Love this kind of creeping jazz/blues. You’ve pulled it off really well, great piano, great bass, smokin’ solo, and a really passionate vocal. I’m sold! One thing I did wonder was whether it was worth using the six tricks as a structure to hang the verses off - like ‘trick one you do X…’ etc. kind of like 50 ways to leave your lover. But maybe that’s over complicating things! (Ps. That soundcloud image is ummm… interesting!) :)

Okay, this is cool. You nailed the mood. Very professional sounding.
I like it.
Guitar solo is interesting, too. Great track!

This is a side of you I didn't know. And I like it. The piano playing, the bass, the rhythm, you pulled everything off. Put it into a bond soundtrack!
