Feb 2022 folk lovesong overlydramatic
OK, this may be a little monotonous.
Probably needs a bridge, maybe a little more variation in the chord structure.
A little overdone on the drama, perhaps?
But .... there it is!
Your Hand on My Arm V1
FAWM 2022 (Body Part Challenge)

Verse 1
Your hand on my arm
Fingers soft on my skin
Your pulse is the voice
Of your heartbeat within
You soul is so silent
Your touch is so warm
We walk on together
Your hand on my arm
Verse 2
Your voice in my ear
A whisper, a breath
The words and their meaning
A gentle caress
The depth of your love
So bright and so clear
Is carried along, by
Your voice in my ear
Verse 3
Your lips on my cheek
Feel like warm summer rain
They comfort my mind
They drive away pain
My heart feels a spark
You’ve no need to speak
You send me love
With your lips on my cheek
Outro
Your touch is so warm
With your hand on my arm

I like the driving rhythm of the guitar. These lyrics are just adorable - I love how you've brought the first line back at the end of each verse!

this would make for a really cool like rock ballad I think! I am hearing really cool drums with the guitar rhythm you are doing!

Nice. There are so many references in here. It makes it so immediate. Nice job.

fixed now, thanks!

Something's awry with the MP3 -- it doesn't play.
