From Cindy:
"I have seen all across social media and the news about so many suicides. It's heartbreaking and I decided to write about it."
Hard to argue with the sentiments in this song.
Permanent Solution
© 2022 Cindy Prince
Don't give up
Life will change
Night will be over
The sun will shine again
Don't leave now
Wait and you'll see
The skies will open up
If you just let it be
Chorus
I've heard it said that suicide
Is a permanent solution for a temporary problem
It sounds complicated but it's not
I've heard it said that there is always hope
Looking inside you’ll surely find it
You are loved, in case you forgot
Don't turn away
Please don't end it
You can overcome
Let your friends in
Tell yourself
You are so brave
Stay away from the light
Walk out that cave
Bridge
Don't ever be afraid to ask for help
Please will you reach out (2)
Don't be alone as you go through hell
You are so cared about (2)
Chorus

The words. So sad but strong and beautiful.

Powerful stuff. A beautiful working of Cindy's words. The piano is great but the organ left is heaven! Well done. Both of you.
permanent solution for a temporary problem just rolls off the tongue.
Uplifting on the darkest and sadest of subjects.
Cindy, thanks so much for your (again and always) kind words earlier. ! :)

Beautiful treatment of Cindy's lyric. It has the feel of one of Taylor Swift's piano ballads (and I mean that in a good way!)

You’re rockin the piano this FAWM. Love your playing, so classy. This is a really beautiful song, very moving lyrics from Cindy. It reminded me of that amazing U2 song Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of. I had to take a little moment of quiet reflection after the song ended, it was that good!

Oh wow! So moving and I hope many can hear it and know how much they are cared about. Thanks so much!
