UPDATE: wonderful demo by Val at:

Song was largely written last night as I was restless trying to fall asleep… hoping to capture the sentiment of uncertainty, letting go and holding on — and wishing I could let go of some things to let other things more fully in
Thanks for reading.
Sometimes, Most Times
V1
reaching in
feeling down deep
in pockets
of dark
vulnerabilities
letting go
trying to keep
the trinkets
of bright
possibilities
C
reaching in
letting go
sometimes..
most times…
we never know
taking in
spitting out
sometimes…
most times…
we harbor doubt
V
taking in
swallowing whole
the elixir
of bitter
memories
spitting out
wanting to hold
the magic
of sweet
sensibilities
C
reaching in
letting go
sometimes..
most times…
we never know
taking in
spitting out
sometimes…
most times…
we harbor doubt
B
what is deep?
what to keep?
dark or bright
bitter or sweet
what is whole?
what to hold?
dark or bright
bitter or sweet
C
reaching in
letting go
sometimes..
most times…
we never know
taking in
spitting out
sometimes…
most times…
we harbor doubt

That second line made me think how we sometimes have to let go in order to keep things...ah, good ol' human emotions and such, right? haha
The whole thing really captures the whole concept of uncertainty...at least the way it sets up shop in my life personally - hits it on the head.
What to keep, what to throw away...WHO to keep and throw away, etc. Yep, all that.
Good to see you have collab on this, seems this has great rhythm that could lend itself to so many genres.

Damn, this is good. I'm feeling that tingling feeling of putting it to music. Darn you!

The truth in this writing--it's like asking the listener to question what is their version of truth?! I love this because sometimes, most times, my doubt tells me I don't know what's best for me...but the beauty as your lyrics say is reaching in and letting go! This moved me, Liz. Beautiful piece.

Very nice. It’s got a neat shape to it that leads you on as ou read it. I’m trying to imagine how a singer would convey it enticingly.
