Feb 2022 indie-rock needs-vocals alternative
Had great plans to continue working on another song I started yesterday, but had forgotten that the mainroom in studio was booked for a video/recording session with a step dancing/modular synth duo, they're awesome using various contact microphones , movement and accelerometer sensors etc to trigger synths crazy stuff, but they made it way to noisy in my room to allow recording of vocals and piano today.
Made this indie rock tune instead, used as a opportunity to test out some new pedals and record something with my new Danelectro Electric 12 string guitar.
Arturia Mellotron, Gibson Les Paul, Danelectro DC12, P bass, Addictive Drummer 2, Audio Thing Latin drum machine, Klevgrand Skaka
If someone should get inspired to do some vocals on it feel free.

Digging that beat with the little snare rolls. Guitars sounding fantastic too. Very good! :)

I listened to this a few days ago and wanted to give it more time before commenting. That progression is really cool, especially how the guitars work together. Kind of a little Interpol-ish at time.....not like them, just related or something. Full and rich. Well done!

Loving the punchiness of the drums and how they are impactful without overshadowing the neat guitar work. Nice seamless switch up into the bridge as well. Love to see a vocal added on this one

Love this. I'm down to try to write something if you'd like! Such a great vibe to this song, kind of nostalgic somehow.

Really like that unconventional beat in the verses, and the clean jangliness of the chorus guitar after the slightly fuzzier verses works really well. Really like the synth/ keys work in the outro too

The layered, noisy guitar work on this one is so good! The sections where one of the guitars cuts out into some riffy arpeggios in particular, absolutely lovely.

this is beautiful and certainly deserves vocals. feeling a lot of emotion from it already

A step dancing modular duo… ok? Who’s the plugger? ;].
Actually we are the profiteurs of this mishap! This track is real sugar in me ears! Thank you for the music

Love this! Everything sounds so good, cool groove in the verses with the kind of droney guitar and almost military drum beat that opens up—love the guitar tones

This is fantastic. Really well thought through, played and produced. I love the indie feel.

Nice vibe: the Dano's jangle is most pleasing here.

I could drive around in my car to this one. The sections all flow together well. I especially like when it opens up the second time and then into the breakdown.
