Hmmm, it was going to be lighter than this, and then is just wasn't.
The house was way too quiet, there wasn’t a sound
I looked all around, not a soul to be found
I heard the phone ringing, I did not relate
I jumped as I heard it starting to dictate
“There’s a phone at the station, beside platform two
Wait for instructions, you’ll be told what to do
Don’t try to be clever, and don’t you tell a soul
Your every move is under our control”
“If you ever want to see her again, you’ll do what we say
You’d better believe it, this is judgement day
We’ll be in contact, so stay by the phone
Don’t try to be clever, don’t try to postpone
Agree to our terms, they are absolute”
A living nightmare, a terrible fate
I didn’t know what I should do
I made my way to the station
To wait by the phone, beside platform two
I didn’t know what else I could do
I’ll just have to wait for the phone to ring
Pray overnight, see what tomorrow brings
I try not to worry, doing all that I can
But prepare for the worst, come up with a plan

Don't think I've ever heard a song with this kind of story-line before. Way to think outside the box! Nice guitar sound by the way!

From the start, the guitar creates a very appropriate mood for these lyrics. Very excellent imagery and storytelling. I had to google platform 2 to get this. The title does lend a hand. The 2nd verse really adds to the story. Great work!
