I didn't want to call this Hallelujah
Hallelujah - you called me on the phone
Hallelujah - you asked me to come home
But is this a dream?
Cause I can't keep on believing that good things are really
happening to me
Hallelujah - you said that you'd be mine
Hallelujah - together all the time
But what's the deal?
Cause I don't deserve someone like you someone
that makes all my dreams become real.
Do you think about me?
When you're all by yourself
Do you think about me?
When you're with someone else
You better know that I'm thinking about you.
Hallelujah - you let me back inside
Hallelujah - so happy I could die
But will it last?
Cause we both know how badly I have screwed up
all the things in our past.
Please think about me
When you're all by yourself
Please think about me
When you're with someone else
Cause you better know that I'm thinking about you
Hey Hallelujah - it's gonna be me and you
Hallelujah - it's too good to be true
But I have faith
And no matter what the others say I know it will never
be too late
I think about you
When I'm all by myself
I think about you
When I'm with someone else
And I hope to God that you're thinking about me
Hallelujah - you loved me way back when
Hallelujah - you'll love me once again
And this I know
Cause I'm never ever ever letting go
And I'm never ever ever letting go
And I'm never ever ever ever ever ever ever letting go.

How about 'Hallelujah, you & me' as an idea. Lovely song and production. Great work.

Yep this is sounding so good. Well done

Really catchy, as always!

So catchy and happy, it really sounds classic. Could imagine it blaring out of a car stereo while driving down a country road in the summer. Great work!

Good job... I like it! Simple, but would fit somewhere on almost any rock/pop album. And I agree naming it Hallelujah would have been the wrong choice. Think About Me (or Please Think About Me) is much better and sets the tone before the first beat is even played.

Jangle! Yes! I'm glad this was my first listen today -- toes are tapping before my first cup of coffee.
@andygetch Feb 2022
This sure is catchy. I love the mirroring in the 'think about....' sections. Well done!

Nice write! The stretched out last line of the verse gives the song great energy. The performance and production are spot on.

Really nice, dude!
