A few notes from a two-mile late-morning walk from my apartment to the city limit and back
Guitar tuning: DAEGAD (or CGDFGC x77325, Capo 2)
Landed at the bottom of the steps
I cut my eyes to the right and left
Ain’t a way to get to my destination
Without a pinch of prestidigitation
The effort isn’t the payoff
The journey ain’t the reward
This life’ll end in a layoff
but at least you won’t be bored
Glitter and confetti collide and crash
oh wait my mistake it’s only trash
Sunset’s gonna look like an epic bruise
I heard Felix say “I got nothing, Deleuze”
I hear the whistle before I see the train
Ain’t gotta miss you in order to feel this pain
Ain’t a way to get to my destination
Without a pinch of transfiguration

I love produced songs! one-shot acoustics are fine too of course, but it's always refreshing to hear lots of effort. And hats off for pulling off "prestidigitation" haha
Cool weird vibe. The lyrics are dark af whew
Good job mate keep it up

Dig the guitar tuning and tone, also rich and sticky earth tones on the vocals . This one reminds me a lot of Cass McCombs, awesome tune

Cool soundscape. I like how it goes slightly off-kilter in places and then comes back together. Plus—first Deleuze joke in a song? Probably! Win!
