Feb 2022 acoustic piano collaborations_welcome
Back in 2004 I composed my music after I learnt that one of the teachers at a school was leaving. It was sad for me to say goodbye to him but at the same time I understood that he was happy to move on so my music wasn't that sad and well, at that time I didn't experience what I had to face later on so my composition had a very different atmosphere. I was using my trusty cakewalk and the link to the piece in case you are interested is soundclick.com/r/s5s9cg
I used the initial melody but in a minor key so it took me to a very different composition which is dramatic and sad in my opinion although it can be perceived differently as it's an instrumental piece and instrumental music is open to suggestions. Thank you as always for listening and for sharing your thoughts. If you feel it could have words or you have other ideas about collaboration on it, please let me know.

Just the perfect combination of hope and hopelessness. Gorgeous emotional piano playing.

Ahhh nadia you always succeed in taking me off to another place of magical melody and dreams. Sometimes we are so lucky if we can express our emotions in music, but really there is so much power in your wonderful melodies i can almost hear your heart singing. So emotional and beautiful. Thank you for this

This is beautifully expressive. It is full of hills and valleys and it's like being taken away, a true journey full of emotion. The earlier song is lovely and takes a trip, making its own statements. Interesting!

Another wonderfully emotive piece. You really do transport me to another place with your music. So, so lovely. Totally agree with the Nyman comparison too.

Very beautiful Nadia.. so much emotion in this. It has really stayed with me after listening

I actually had tears in my eyes at the end of this, it's a beautiful piece Nadia. It wouldn't sound out of place in Michael Nyman's Piano Concerto to my ears, and that's a work I love very much. Well done!

Thanks for taking me to another place. I needed the four minute mental vacation.
I really like your use of low notes in this piece. Some great character and depth.

So Beautiful, Nadia. Your playing is so heartfelt, but smoothly controlled to lead us along on your emotional journey. Compelling is a good word.

So compelling - I listened to the previous piece before and it was neat to see the evolution - amazing how music and how we hear and feel it changes over time.
