First FAWM song!
This song is about thinking before you speak, and the growing pains of mastering it. As well as the feeling of my sense of self diminishing.
Enjoy and thanks for listening!
My teeth are getting crooked, it must be from putting my foot in my mouth.
I say a few words and my throat turns into cotton, and I excuse myself to silence.
It's been a decision of mine to smile through the heat of embarrassment until I evaporate.
The feeling of regret flows through my veins until it reaches my neck so I won't say:
The bits and pieces of words from my head flow like a dying stream.
Dripping unpredictably and no longer fruitful, so I'll sit back in my seat.
It's been said the sad girl stuff is over (Mitski reference), but I'm just getting started, I'm not broken hearted, but I'm just realizing this is all I will be.
Maybe He's decided to lock my jaw until I can learn to think.
Will I learn to think?

nice song in 3/4 time! loved that minor chord at the end of the first stanza - it was a nice transition. Congrats on your first FAWM song!

You're on your way for 2022!
I had to listen, as I know a song by Todd RUndsgren with the same name (but totally different!)
Kind of sad expository song, I guess. Intense images.
