Another too-ambitious, full-rock-band arrangement. The mix is probably rubbish, but time has run out.
There is of course a story behind this song. Like "Creak, Twang ..." on the 2021 FAWM album, this has its origins in something that happened when I was at school. I will not elaborate further because it would spoil it, other than to say R.I.P. Dave.
an ordinary day
nothing strange or obscene
emerge from the linen
on a quest for caffeine
the sun radiating brightly
all is normal thus far
and that's when you remember
you can't stop the Wa
chorus:
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa, lads
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa, lads
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa, lads
can we stop this wa, can we stop this wa
can we stop this wa
a universal evil
of a kind rarely seen
reminiscent of satan
but seven times more mean
The Wa eclipses violence
Makes death seem mundane
and just one encounter
yields a lifetime of pain, so
(chorus)
imagine a dimension worse than Hell
a flaying, searing fire that naught may quell
an abyss into which innocent souls are dropped
if only the Wa could be stopped
(chorus)
But myth tells of a hero
The Wa, he did arrest
Some say he was a physicist
And some that he played chess
In states of true enlightenment
Cross-legged on the bench
He braved the chaos all around
And spoke, the Wa to quench:
(chorus)
can we stop this wa? NOW

At the beginning I was thinking how much I like that you are so not lazy about choosing words for ordinary things. By the time we got to creepy soliloquy guy going all stonehenge, I had such a big smile here. Thanks for this story and for doing it this way!

Cool rhythmic chorus! The band sounds great! Definitely an earworm.

wow, the chorus is hilarious and super good. I'm laughing pretty hard here. Really cool lyrics and arrangement
