I put this music together, and asked Marcelo Sanchez to play guitar over it. I liked it, but it seemed like it was missing something. I invited More J to do some vocals and I felt it was finished.
I wrote "Hey Hey/", More J wrote the rest. I don't speak Swahili, but I'm pretty certain the lyrics translate as something like this:
My love is like a peach and an apple to me
because she is my love, she is my wife
and together we do dance like this
for she's my queen, my queen of the night
she's my queen, she's my queen of the night
She's the apple and I'm the peach and I love her so, she's my queen my kiss is her apple pie
and she is my peach, peach, peach, peach
My apple pie, my apple pie, my apple pie is my apple pie, my apple pie, my apple pie is my apple pie
My apple pie, my apple pie, my apple pie is my apple pie, my apple pie, my apple pie is my apple pie.
The day I married her, she was so very old,
With a big old hat upon her head.
And when she said, `I love you baby, so very much,'
I said, `you sure do look fine, momma.'
`But I got a surprise for you,' She said.
`Oh baby, I knew you would.'
'No, it's not a baby,' she said.
`It's a peach and an apple tree.'
'And if you love me baby, you'll do what I say.'
'They're saying you get to pick,' I said.
'They say I get to kiss,' She said.
`I'm glad we finally got here,' I said.
`And you know what that means.'
That means you're married.
But it all leads to the same thing
After all, you get to kiss the peach
`That means you're married'

Hahaha I love the translated lyrics, All I can says is 'Dont kiss the peach!'
Seriously enjoyable listen, I love the rhythm of languages and Swahili is one of my favourite rhythms
Cool peaches Matt, Marcelo and More J!

Really unusual combination of sounds and textures. Loved the low-end vocals! Very cool stuff.
