This is a song about a walk I went on the other day in Swithland. I'm still finding the melody in places but it's getting there. 'Line made by walking' is a nod to the wonderful Richard Long. I also just realised maybe I can claim it fits into the Body Part challenge as i have swaying shoulders and achy toe joints in there...
Line made by walking
Wild grasses sway
With our shoulders
Horse shoe arcs laced
Through bicycle tyre prints
Hike boots thick in mud
Heaps of crisp oak leaves
Lie in the pit of a trench
Company for our path
Desire lines mark a new way
Bulrush pond
Broken twigs
Path of brick and swithland blue stone
ivy creeping up
Old man oak
Song of the birds
Wild grasses sway
With our shoulders
Mound of horse shit
Achy toe joints
Mossy log to rest upon

Magical. Only you could make ‘shit’ sound so lovely in a song!

Your guitar playing makes me want to burn my guitar. So distinctive and stunningly atmospheric. Certainly invokes the countryside in my mind.

Sorry to start off on a tangent, but I've been watching a guy on YouTube that has made a couple of attempts of walking across Wales in a straight line, over bushes/fences and through farms et al. That's all I could think reading the title.
Ahem, apologies. This is gorgeous, your playing is incredible, it almost sounds like a harp. This is harmonically so unique and interesting. The fluid tempo is so floaty, I love it.
