Well I'm sorry if you expecting something else
A bit of a change of tempo and direction for #2
Avatar Challenge completed - with an actual Tele not just any old electric guitar!
I don’t want someone perfect
I don’t want someone nice
I don’t want someone to be
Elegant and precise
No I don’t mind your defects
No I don’t mind your flaws
I don’t care what’s broken
Just as long as I’m yours
As long as I’m yours
I want you cos you’re trashy
I want you cos you’re cheap
I don’t want someone classy
I don’t want someone chic
All your imperfections
They make me want you more
None of it all matters
Just as long as I’m yours
As long as I’m yours

Yeh, what a punch in the guts this is, a good punch of course!
Nice catchy riff and that repeated rhythm is super effective.
I like the loose phrasing of a few lines in the chorus, like you only just quickly grabbed the mic becuase you were too busy swinging your guitar around with foot up on the foldback. A right bag of fun here!

The absolute *crunch* of that Tele, oof. Love the energy of this one, some of guitars at the end sound like saxes or something!

I quite like this guy better than the other. You write better! Love that chorus!

Nice follow up to your first song. Fun lyrics and the Tele is superb!
Great riff at the end!

These riffs make me happy! The guitar tone reminds me of the stuff I listened in my academic years. What a powerhouse song!

"I want you cos you're trashy, I want you cos you're cheap". If the music doesn't work out, at least you can fall back on writing lines for Valentines cards!
Seriously though, awesome tune. Filthy, in a really great way.

I love the interplay of the thrashed guitar versus the funky little almost surf guitar riff. This has a great energy, really fun. Awesome production too, mix sounds awesome. The breakdown/quiet bit is just what’s needed at that point, and allows you to go all out for the big ending. Nice work!

Hang on, I think I recognise the eyebrows waggling behind that Groucho Marx disguise. Welcome back, mate. Top notch stuff as usual, lean and focused but full of great detail. Love the snare clack and picked guitar in the quiet bit. A Tele's one of those guitars you have to plug in, right?

Oh yeah, liking this one a lot! A really slick production job - fantastic arrangement, instrumentation and vocal work. Catchy tune to top it off! Lovely stuff again.
@lcad Feb 2022
Toe tapping rock, tight instrumentation and solid vocals. Love the doubling and the break at 1:40. Fantastic stuff!

Holy crap haha that's really solid! Catchy riff, and great production value. The bridge was really interesting, with the change of pace.
