when I was a kid I really liked Captain Scarlet and I always thought the name of the baddies (the mysterons) sounded really cool. this isn't about Captain Scarlet, or anything really, I just thought it had a vaguely mysterious vibe and seemed to fit alright
the odd noisy effect on the right channel in the second half is a glitch-affected recording of me beating up my guitar, which was fun!
i promise i'll write some actual lyrics at some point, but there aren't really any here. I sang some nonsense at first, then I tried to write lyrics, but they weren't very good and when I recorded them I didn't like the takes as much as the original nonsense

Cool, really enjoying this wash of sound.
@hanley Feb 2022
Very cool use of reversed audio, is that guitar?
I'm a fan of the 'nonsense' lyrics too, with such a dreamy washy track it blends in really nicely and adds to the whole vibe without needing a definitive story/meaning.
@gammafied Feb 2022
This so dreamy. I like the intro. I don't think it need lyrics. That guitar line so strong.
@elainedimasi Feb 2022
I love the tangled synths! I think the 3rd chord in the progression will resolve up after the 2nd one and it gets so tangled that everything it does makes perfect sense, I mean, I hear it untangle and keep going.
You've got a knack for these little riffs, everything deceptively simple and relentlessly driving.
@thedutchwidows Feb 2022
I totally get the mysteron feel - that synth is bang on for that. This is such as lush sound, until you get to the guitar beating. That angularity is a really nice touch. Am hoping the guitar survived..
@lcad Feb 2022
Groovy and tight. That melody has made some earwormy burrows. Cool jams
@ductapeguy Feb 2022
The tight rhythm section. The jangly guitars. The bloopy synths. The screamy synths and the dreamy vocals. You're playing my jam. Wondeful.r
@bootlegger Feb 2022
Cool guitars. Nice driving drums. Those synth are wonderfully vibrato-y. Nice layers. I like this a lot. Would be killer with some cool lyrics if u get around to it. Love the reverse guitar lines in there.
@owl Feb 2022
Love that guitar tone and riff, also goddamn the whole palette is so good, I love the crunchy drums and warped synths/glitchy guitar noises. It’s always a treat to hear what you come up with, i could listen for hours!
@resonut123 Feb 2022
Cool and Mysterious!
Nice clean guitar and the aforementioned Wobbly Synth sounds cool too. I like La-la nonsense backing vocals.
Interesting Glitch effect on the mangling guitar part!
@nahlej381 Feb 2022
Groovin hard. Enjoyed very much.
@beatsbycamel Feb 2022
really smooth its great!
@xfloorpunchx Feb 2022
Wow this dreamy song is super catchy! I really enjoyed it. I can dig some Mac Demarco vibes around here. Congrats!
@shortdan Feb 2022
This is marvellously quirky! Particularly fond of that wobbly synth pad and the backwards guitar stuff. A dreamy listen :)
@vomvorton Feb 2022
Love how this shifts into more wonderfully chaotic territory as soon as that wobbly synth pad kicks in. Really offsets the crisp clean guitar and crunchy guitars nicely! The glitch solo absolutely rules!
@adforperu Feb 2022
Some most excellent whirriness (?) at play here. Has a lovely warped tape/LP feel to it, which works nicely against that nice clean guitar line. The beats are so nice and crunchy. Basically, lots of different textural things going on but they all work so well together sonically if not on paper
