It’s time to let you down
Shakey hands and heartbreaks
I won’t come around
If you want me to stay away
Diamonds touch the ground
Heavy hearts and headaches
Can I touch you now
If only to push away
C#m A E G#
Will you hold me while I let you slip away like quicksand
You don’t have to mean it but let me know that you heart still beats for me
You have hurt me now
Heavy handed and heartless
Have I kept you down
Or was it your own weakness
Will you hold me while I let you slip away like quicksand
You don’t have to mean it but let me know that you heart still beats for me
Like it beats for you although I know that you don’t want it to
Life is what I lived while you were busy making other plans
Where does this go now now
Spinning rooms and sickness
I want you around
If only to push away
Shaky hands

Guitar has a bit of a pixies vibe. Really dig the vocal. Cool track dude!

Really like what you’re doing on guitar here. Nice vocal phrasing too.

Thanks so much for the feedback @momentegalerie I definitely hear a tight rhythm section on those verses and some distorted guitar doing things.
@headfirstonly I agree with the performance aspect. I started behidn the 8Ball so I only did a phone demo. I definitely need to demo this cleanly, especially if I want to get a band to work with it.

Like the chords and the rythm guitar playing!! Could imagine a drum kit and big base, 2-4 more voices to fill in and - heyho-letsgo!

Lovely Chord Progression and your voice fits the guitar :) I like your energetic playing and singing!

I can hear the levels changing as you moved around the mic - the side effect of a really energetic and engaging performance. It's not particularly obtrusive, and most importantly don't lose that energy, because it really sells the song, but trying a different recording approach or keeping in front of the mic will even out those rises and falls in volume.
The aggressive acoustic guitar really sets the mood. "I want you around / if only to push away" is the heart of it for me. Very nicely done.
