This song is a world-wide strategy for peace-making. One person with the right attitude and courage can change the world. It is also a response to the first week body-part challenge.
Take My Hand
I don't know you
You don't know me
We're strangers in the night
But I've come to tell you that you're free
We got no cause to fight
'Cause we're all brothers, sisters, lovers
Friends and souls alike
So take my hand and come with me
We'll fill the dark with light
This old world is torn apart it seems
By men who are filled with hate
But I'm here to tell you my dear friend
That it is never too late
'Cause we have got within our hearts
The power to heal and mend
One man can do an awful lot
To change the course of fate
So, if you'll trust me
Take my hand
Together we will go
And gather all the friends of light
That all the world may know
That we're all brothers, sisters, lovers
Friends and souls alike
There is no cause to fear the dark
When your heart is filled with light

Lovely song feels right out of the early 60s (Kingston Trio vibes) and is no less true for being of that era. "Friends of light" makes me think of Quakers. The world will be better, as more people take one another's hands.

I try to be filled with light. Your lyric is inspirational. The gentle guitar was a lovely match.

Great job. Take my hand and join together. Boy we need more of this. I like the Gaelic influence.

Love the Irish tone of this. And it does sound old worldish. I also enjoy the topic and optimism in it. Thanks for sharing.
