A demo version of a song written about the nature of life and our relationship to the infinite and its seeming disinterest in us and our infatuation with it.
I still believe in ghosts
You haunt these halls the most
Invade my memories
Take whatever you please
God only knows
The chaos he imposed
On the lives that he chose to swallow
He's a wide eyed starving crow
He's looking for a host
He's wanting more but always feeling hollow

It's a perfect birthday gift
One you'll never miss
You took it all away
Is that a selfish thing to say?
God only knows
The chaos he imposed
On the lives that he chose to swallow
He's a wide eyed starving crow
He's looking for a host
He's wanting more but always feeling hollow

Such a beautiful flow to this one, I love the strings so much. Really reminds me of Bright Eyes vocally :)

Always love to see bowed strings make it into the singer-songwriter idiom. The cello part was written very tastefully as well, as a nice counterpart both in range and style to your voice. Glad I checked this out!

Nice guitar, vocals, orchestral production, and, yeah, I so get it!
