Feb 2022 electronica trance deep-house fawmtronica groove space
I said my plan was going to go out of the window on day 2 and it has. Instead of electropop have a dark deep evolving groove for four and a half minutes. It still has a guitar solo at the end because I'm not entirely away from pop sensibility.

Plans *always* go out of the window during FAWM. That's where the fun happens. Case in point: this. I'm sitting here with my head nodding up and down in time to that gorgeous, insistent beat. And the fact that there's some lush guitar on it is the icing on the cake. I've already downloaded this. Great stuff. Seriously good stuff, in fact.

Ooh yes, this is my kind of thing. Loving that bass and driving four-to-the-floor kick. Mellow tension, which is perfect. I'm a big fan of using bells in my own stuff, and I really like how yours evolve as the track progresses. Cracking write, and an addictive listen.

So much cool synth work here. That deep bassline sounds great for a start, love the echoey bells that come in at around 1.20 and that big pad sweep rising up midway through with the beat dropping out is really effective. The guitar solo and the big beat coming in at the end is really cool and intense after the quite low key first 3/4 of the song. Great work

This is an absolute mood. Gorgeous tones. Those arp notes kept me wanting more. The guitar addition was a fun twist. Nice work!

wow how i love FAWM. And all the variety of people i want to listen to. You got me hear with this understated groove so much that i experimented with my brand new smart bulb which is now syncing intime to the music ;-) . Love the arpeggiated interjections. I really could be back at livepool uni dancing my way through the night at voodoo club. Top work mate

I could listen to this on endless repeat. So good!

Oh my.
This hits a very special sweet spot right off bat. That specific sound that starts the track off, played in that specific rhythm will never not win me over. The rest of the song could have been cats meowing as far as I'm concerned and I would've kept listening.
Nice subtle bass under it.
Nothing but a kick - I LOVE that and think its a great choice; sometimes that's all that the other instruments need, just something to keep things driving ahead. Fits this vibe perfectly.
I like the direction you take the sparkling arp, hitting notes that I didn't expect that fully work out.
I don't have much experience listening to deep house, but this sounds good to me.
Oh! Nice, there's the guitar solo. I like how it just comes right on in, smooth and soulful with the bendy lines you play.
Great feel to this.

That house truly *is* deep. You couldn't be much further from your first track, the versatility in you is admired! I'm also impressed with how restrained you are with this for such a long time, and then BAM it's guitar time!
@frenchcricket Feb 2022
This is good! It feels watchful and wary. Even though you mentioned it, the guitar took me by surprise! In a good way though. Don’t laugh but for some reason i kept expecting a vocoder to come in.
@chroes Feb 2022
Sooo much groove. Sooo much space! Enjoyed the ride, thank you for sharing this beauty with us!
@samplebandit Feb 2022
i'm blown away by how buttery smooth the first half is, damn
@vomvorton Feb 2022
Hell yeah electro-groove! This is really excellent, you're dropping things in and out in what feel like all the right places, I want this to play as I walk purposefully down a dark, rain-slicked street in an imaginary universe where I'm not in bed by 9pm.

Great. This is the kinda tune you brood on the bus to while the coffee kicks in and the people behind you chat about inane (or are they?) conspiracy theories involving M&Ms and world powers.
