I watched The Mothman Prophecies a few days ago and... well.
lemme eat your clothes
I’m a demon of the night
I dematerialize
Before your bloodshot eyes
Outside, release your ghosts in sighs
Someone’s turned on a light
And it flickered off just right
I am a mothman, I am a figment
I can be entrapped in the minds of many
But it doesn’t make me real
I am a mothman, traveling inland
You may hear the buzzing in your ear someday
But I’ll never make it close
No I’ll never make it close
No I’ll never make it close
No I’ll never make it close
I would like to eat your clothes
Oh, I never made it home
No, I never made it home
Oh, I never made it home
I never made it home

Briliant! Simple yet full production. The vocals are really good here and the lyrics are just fun with a twist of seriousness if you want I guess. Loved the moth at the end.
Peace

The rapid picking keeps the listener on edge, and the harmonies at the end are stellar. Thank you for watching the movie, so I don't have to. LOL

Love the melodies and all these turns of phrase… “release your ghosts in sighs”, “I would like to eat your clothes” (lol). The overlapping vocals at the end are haunting.

Beautiful melodies here. This would lend itself really well to a full on 80s techno arrangement. The bit of canon in the harmonies at the end was wonderful.

Love the harmonisation on the vocals. I really appreciate the contrast of the lightfull music and the dark lyrics. Your voice is really lovely!

O my god, I love when then layered vocals come in. And that flutter!

Big John Keel fan here, so this is very much in my wheelhouse. For all its weird origins, the song's line "I would like to eat your clothes" is absolutely priceless. I will never think of the Mothman in the same light ever again—changing someone's view of the world is what all the good songs do, right?
Final sound is *perfect*.
