Feb 2022 modular eurorackmodular synthesizer instrumental nodaw
First of a series of modular patches. Recorded with a Tascam DP008EX digital recorder and dropped into soundforge for some basic editing/mastering. I actually messed up and the recorder was on the external mic setting instead of the direct in from my mixer, but it sounded ok, maybe even with a little actual room reverb going on.
Modules used: Maths, Braids, 2 Turing Machines with Pulses, Doepfer Random A149, DSI Curtis Filter, Pittsburg Modular Delay, Blue Lantern simple LFO, EWM BPM Clock output, Radio Music (routed into Braids), and the KIlpatrick Pattern Generator. Maybe another couple I forgot.

I love this kind of sound experimentation, travelling. Its a journey into other realms. Really great stuff, here, you crafted a lovely, engaging evolving soundscape.

This is so awesome. So much texture and such a living and breathing piece, my favorite kind of sonic exploration. I totally dig this sound journey!
@elesimo Feb 2022
This was quite a journey! Love it!

I'm here for the "Use reverb as an instrument" challenge, and you are very much doing it. There's enough space for the reverb to be our sound here. Good job.
Decent dynamics too, I like the low-freq buildup, some tension and release. I do love the Radio Music module, and sounds like you're using it in a way that really blends in with the rest.
There's a section that sounds like a robot march, a bit that sounds like a broken runaway film projector. Robot birds. Rebellious test equipment.

This is clearly just an ambient recording you took while on board an alien craft... and a photo of the "gear" you used isn't fooling me.

Beautiful! Captures why I need a turing machine, or two, and a randomizer next, love it!

Seismically shifting textures, with some fun rhythms emerging...Great stuff

Very tasteful delayed blips and bloops sir.

Great atmosphere. For dorks like me it'd be cool to see a pic of the setup in question :)
