My long-term guitar goal is to learn to play proper fingerstyle. It's so hard though. I love a good mucking around in drop D and this was something I've been riffing on while watching my baby play. Just some lighthearted instrumental stuff, trying to progress technically to becoming a better fingerstyle guitarist.

Lovely little piece that would slot nicely into a Nick Drake album, perhaps. Was waiting for you to yell 'GUITAR NOISES' somewhere in the middle. :)

Super melodic - I agree with everyone here the playing is really strong here (I find it quite hard to get the same consistent volume/tone out of both the bass and higher strings, for example, but you do a great job here). Really relaxing and soothing stuff :)

is this not proper fingerstyle? It sounds excellent. I know that when I try this kind of thing it sounds like absolute shit, so I think you're doing great. some very nice riffs and melodies in this track, and to my ears performed really well

Nine grooves and very melodic. I love the tuning and hummed along. It does have a child's play feel to it; you were inspired!

This is really a delight to hear. I like the sort of meandering. Good one!

Well, seriously, you already are a good fingerstyle guitar player. That's some tasty playing. I love this.

This is inspiring me to pick up fingerstyle as well! I'm getting all sorts of forest & mountain vibes from this, very enjoyable stuff!

Ohhh this is beautiful. You sound great to me! Love a drop D :-)
I like the change. Really cool.

I am a fan of guitar picking....very smooth and your practice is paying off.
Well done.

This is lovely, and very "pictorial" - by which I mean it's conjuring up all sorts of images here for me. The atmosphere you've created is great. And I absolutely love that change-up of pace at the halfway mark.
Nicely done!
