I wanted to write a tribute about the artists I have listened to a lot over the years. This turned out to be a fun song and video, and I hope you enjoy. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I grew up on pop punk bands like Mayday Parade
And I feel like a kid again when I hear Less Than Jake
In college Frank Turner got me through tough times
Lately Novo Amor helps me with long drives
I went to a convention out in Chicago
Back in 2015 and met the drummer from Scandal
I said I liked her song
I said 「おやすみ」が大好き
She blushed and smiled back at me
And it made me so happy
Now about half a year ago
I met the woman of my dreams
And now I get to write her songs
And show her what she means to me
Music has a way
Of bringing us together
Even on cloudy days
Holding out for better weather
We rock out to Mayday Parade
Together in the car
It brings me back to the beginning
We will go so far
Ooh, I love you

My memory is bad but I don't think I've heard you singing before.
These lyrics are personal and share a nice slice of life about times past and finding love in the present, and I think the earnest vocals work well to capture the feel.
The guitar here is bed-like and dreamy, its a really perfect backdrop for the subject matter. Whatever fx you're putting on them and the mixing you do sounds really good here.

All kinds of fun :) Great ode to music, and your lady! Yasss to Japanese!

Songs about music are their own wonderful genre. Great guitar sounds here, and the lyrics are very touching, even if my analogous reference points would be the Sex Pistols and KISS. :)

I know you're usually a music guy, so I thought I'd leave a note about the lyrics. The three act are cool: music, love, the fusion of music and love. I dig that structure a lot.

Oh love songs…
The stereo on the guitar is very nice, really enjoyed this.
I once played in a punk band, long time ago…
I might listen to your suggestions
Enjoy being.

Oh, boy! This is lovely and very open from the very start, learning about your favorite bands, and then you get to that chorus... I love how it connects everything in the song. It's really beautiful, I had tears in my eyes!
