I didn't know who "Henri Bardouni" was and I figured from this he was probably someone who died a truly terrible death and likely had a face on the back of his head.
Haunting. I enjoyed the way it began to build with those staccato "drops" of piano. So many sounds mixed in, I'm trying to isolate them as I listen. I can't even guess how many layers there are in here. After all my listening today, it was somewhat refreshing to have a minute of silence in the end.
Okay...I had to find out about Henri too. Now that I have, I recall being put off another make of aniseed liquor because some left overnight in a plastic "glass" etched the plastic. And this intense and cutting soundscape would etch an experience be it visual of tactile well. (I looked for refills in that minute-long blank tail but didn't find any)
Today I learned about Pastis Henri Bardouin! I was going to work on some work type work, but this piece made me sane again, so the will to do that is now gone. Very tasteful. Must have been very satisfying to compose
Skillful. I liked how as time progressed, voices come closer out of shadows. Especially I liked the piano statements, made it a real actor in the space.
Ein sehr gelungenes und interessantes Stück, wie "bradbrubaker" bereits angemerkt hat, das Piano fühlt sich wie heruntertropfende Wassertropfen an. Wie von einer anderen Welt... Ausgezeichneter Start!
I enjoyed how this is very musical while not having a traditional melody. I often fight with the urge to write a ‘tune’ when what I want is to create a feel. This really keeps you listening with its sense of intrigue.

Very cool, very shadows in your peripheral vision

Love this... is something boiling? The sound textures and the sparse notes make it very spooky.
@engebretsen Feb 2022
Just before the big symphonic orchestration. You actually made an interesting piece out of this.

Super atmospheric from the very start! <-- I see a lot of people agree with me but that was my own impression :)
Almost feels like being on a deserted playground where the merry-go-round is for some reason slowly spinning...

good company - nice track <3 reminds me somehow of playin Sim City 3 ^^

This is quite an unsettling soundscape. Well done.

The back-and-fourth of the synths is both disorienting and mesmerizing. The long-resonating tones/atmospheres add cohesion.
@atam94 Feb 2022
Very eerie in the best of ways. I love all of the little details throughout the track.
@vomvorton Feb 2022
Intriguing and unsettling! Love the bubbling textures rising up towards the end.

This felt like a dark cave, the piano stabs being dripping water from a stalactite.
@jaegerin Feb 2022
Oh yes, this is atmospheric and eerie in the best way! I too had to go and look up Monsieur Bardouin :-)
@ductapeguy Feb 2022
That took me on a beautiful and slightly haunted journey.
@ampersandman Feb 2022
Kommt psychedelisch, wenn nicht gar leicht halluzinogen unter meinen Kopfhörern.
@dragondreams Feb 2022
Atmospheric and engaging! I have to admit that I did a Google search for Henri Bardouin. ;-)
@readwrite Feb 2022
Pulled me in right away, kept me listening for the next new thought, subtle but fascinating.

Ich meine das Blubbern kalten klaren Wassers zu hören - mit Sicherheit eine geeignete Begleitung für Henri Bardouin. Träume mir gerade den Duft.
