This instrumental while I was writing reminded me of a lovely train journey from the Mediterranean at NICE to the French Alps, to Digne. A lovely rickety train, through the French countryside and lots of beautiful small rural towns.
If you wish to listen and get the full experience, click on the link below which is a youtube of the train ride, mute the youtube and start at about 7:50 into the video. I found the stopping and starting of the tune reflected the feelings of a long lazy train ride through beautiful rural scenes..

This is gorgeous - very patient, well-paced and suggestive.
I enjoyed it so much that I'm having a second listen right now!!
If you want a little advice: the mix is a bit heavy in the right channel, and quieter in the left. If you want to get it a touch more balanced, you could use something like Audacity to spread your guitar more equally through the stereo field. Please note, I'm just an amateur so feel free to ignore me!!
Do you know the guitarist Glenn Jones? I discovered him recently, and wondered if you might enjoy his work. He has the kind of melancholic warmth that you achieved in this song. "Fleeting" is a great album.

I enjoy the meditative quality of this piece. I agree, much like a train ride it just keeps rolling along.
