From the storycube challenge ( https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12174/ ). The roll was "a gremlin, a football, a bassinet, an airplane, and the action was someone playing with toys." I had the idea to have the gremlin playing and, well, see the lyrics. :)
If anyone wants to put this to music, let me know. Enjoy!
Doll in the bassinet,
her head's been abused,
death building regret,
a gremlin amused.
Gremlin, goblin, nightmare thing,
taking away what day could bring.
Football hurled
through closed window,
the gremlin curled,
overjoyed in woe.
Gremlin, goblin, nightmare thing,
taking away what day could bring.
The airplane broken,
a window smashed,
a vengeful token,
the plane has crashed.
Gremlin, goblin, nightmare thing,
taking away what day could bring.
Gremlin, goblin, dead-souled thing.

Wow what a cool interpretation of the dice roll! Very spooky and very awesome

I read these lyrics and was creeped out, and then I read @owl's comment and went to read the synopsis of the movie she mentioned, and now I need to go read about unicorns and butterflies.
The lyrics are really good, I love the story you came up with. I picture a tick-tock sound as the percussion, with a creepy children nursery rhyme voice singing it, with whispers from a darker voice. It's a really strong picture painted by the lyrics!

I can hear the music in my head for this one! The lyrics alone are enough to make it catchy.

Freaky.. I have some music running through my brain for this.. mind if I try to record something? I can pm a rough demo if you like.

Ooh, this is dark. I just saw “we have to talk about Kevin” and it makes me think of this in a way—watching evil enjoy itself.

Spooky and excellent use of your rolls! Well written.

What a wicked combination your story cube provided. Congrats that you nailed the challenge. That's quirky!

I always enjoy these storycube challenges. Good job cooking up something deliciously dark, interesting, and ultimately singable out of the unusual ingredients. ;)
I'm glad it's early in the day here, as I wouldn't want to be reading this before going to bed. :D
