Trying to resist perfect performance and production and just crank out tunes!
Every single day it's on display
It's everywhere you turn
It's on TV and the radio
And follows you everywhere you go
It's on your phone and in your home
It sings to you all day
It magnifies lies and toxifies eyes
It's even falling from the sky
Don't deny it
Falsify it
(Magnify it/Toxify it)
(future 2nd verse)

Nate, are you a time traveller? This synthesizer came from the 80s and I see the 70s prog riffage. Epic twist on "Dont demy it" oh thats great. Turn up the volume of the voice. It's too nice to hide it!

Definitely an 80's vibe here, and your Genesis/Tony Banks/Steve Hackett influences are showcased..... even the vocals sound like Gabriel,. I love the dissonant bridge at 1:49.... and then (as someone else points out) turns into something that Rush may have done..... BTW, these are some of my favorite all time bands! Loving it!!!

Nice synthy start, which means the guitar part caught me off guard. Nice groove in 5, and some nice vocal lines.
Oooh, some nice chords on 'Don't deny it' too. Put me in mind vaguely of IQ for some reason (probably cos I was listening to them recently). Nice stuff.

Nice opening! Ode to “Tony Banks” Great Riff. I love playing in 5. My new one is in 5 as well for part of it. Yup the “Don’t deny it” hook has the harmonic density I was waiting for. “Magnify me… Toxify it” - I live it… breathe it.., and embody it…

Wow. Really cool colors at your part starting at 1:40. Then at 2:40 even more so. Also dig the build through 3:30 because we know you're going to open up and you're making us wait for it.

Hmm, something to consider, right enough.
Well this was a lovely listen. Loads to be interested in from start to end.

Very Farewell To Kings/Hemispheres vibe to this one. But I also detect a slight lilt like Fairport with a fuzz box (OK, an overdrive pedal). Nicely done!

It's always a pleasure to listen to your creations, you never disappoint.
This track feels incredibly soothing to my ears and mind. The time signature, the wonderful vocals, the brilliant build-up with nimble harmonic changes, even the dissonant twist towards the end : all that contribute to a moment of sheer delight.

Oops, I fixed the song link!

Hey, I already heard this one! Wrong song linked

Wow ok I started this and was like “nice, this sounds awesome” and was just pottering round in my kitchen jamming to it THEN when it opened up like that my jaw dropped! You have an INCREDIBLE prog rock voice, that’s just amazing. I love the way you structured this, it cruises up to you and then hits before you realise, just like the subliminal “it” in the lyrics. Tight, great song
@jlampson Feb 2022
The dynamics and melodic textures here are so nice. The chords naturally lead into each other and none of the changes seem forced. It sounds like you have plans to expand this further, and I am here for that 100%. Keep rocking it, and happy FAWMing!
