I'm not super happy with this yet. And I *really* don't want to sing it myself. My voice is awful. At least I have the lyrics up, I'll ponder the uke and other stuff later.
Bent and bare
Wounds we share
Adventured bold
And stories told
Yet
In reflection
Resting circumspection
You're folded calm
For a resting palm
again I am blessed,
I have not one
but two of thee
You bend and bare
The weight of prayer
Bent bowed low
To cushion woe
Yet
In times of bliss
You never miss
The chance
To dance
again I am blessed,
I have not one
but two of thee
Wild and free
You've taken me
Where I need to be
Places to see
Yet
When I sit
You don't forget
To be the place
Loved ones sit safe
again I am blessed,
I have not one
but two of thee
I can't say
Where I'd be
Without my dear,
Beloved knees
again I am blessed,
I have not one
but two of thee

You had me in suspense right to the end! Knees! Everybody loves knees. Great write. Pong me when your knees find music

Ooo, I love, Love, LOVE these lyrics! As I neared the end I had an AHA moment and had to read it all again! Very clever lyrics. And the title is perfect as well! Oh and I always love, Love, LOVE short, powerful lines like you've written! Nice work!
