I let the river take my pain Down to the ocean to transform it to light again And I let go, and I let go And I held on for so long that I couldn’t feel my hands And I held on for so long that I thought that’s how it is And I held on for so long that I forgot that I could be free And this is my life‘s journey Well in 300 years will all be gone from this place And in 300 years what will you value? Having a smile on your face, or being right? And I thought I knew it all and how it should be My beliefs made me stand tall and think that I know me And now I laugh is it crumbles, the rubble fertile ground for new life What seeds will I plant today?

I’d say you’re way more of a “movie” banjo player than a newbie banjo player! Love your vocals here too. Honest and warm. I have real trouble for whatever reason singing and playing banjo so you definitely have my respect here. I’ll check out more of your music over the month of March.

Nicely done. very evocative lyrics and awesome banjo- and your voice is very familiar, somehow. I liked your repetition of “held on for so long…” nice device.
