A little melancholy something done mainly with free stuff - the beautifully atmospheric November Piano from the Pianobook site, Slinky Violin from Decent Sampler and a synth library from LABS and some a percussion library made of knocks on a violin (also from the Pianobook site).
There's some proper acoustic guitar picking too.

i just found out why November’s so glum. they took away his syncopation! thank G they left him with Slinky and Woody at least..

Wow, this is really nice. Sound so clean and lush, yet it's open and sparse enough to let my mind drift. Your arrangement choices are perfect, right down to bringing some guitar arpeggios in the latter half. I would listen to this for twice as long. In fact, I'm going to go ahead and do that! :)

Welly well! Susy and I were discussing (at great length) what happened to the oddities of this world, and of course you're just hiding...behind a hauntingly beautiful piano no less!
Lovely evocative arrangement, lots of tasty tonal and note choices, fit for a film for sure. Wouldn't be out of place on a Nils Frahm album too!

Such a lovely film noir chord sequence, and those wonky synth sounds are really a delight. The inclusion of the acoustic comes at just the right moment too

Now THIS is really really nice Oddb....I mean whoever you are. More of this please. So good.

Gorgeous atmospheric piece.
Must have been fun and challenging to put this together.
So different. Noir music score
@nadine Feb 2022
This has some old school jazz feeling. Great for a film noir. The reverated piano sounds super great.

That was like glossy, atmospheric honey (yeah, sure, that's a thing) being poured into my ears. Beautiful production.
@roddy Feb 2022
A very good piece of music, your arrangement is very impressive. There is a very musical nice development as it proceeds.
@mikedebenham Feb 2022
Well, damn, Timothy Southworth on Soundcloud already said exactly what I going to say. Feels a little French to me. Pensive and open-ended. Satisfyingly woody percussion.
@jacobeverettwallace Feb 2022
This is gorgeous. Very evocative and emotional with plenty of wistful melancholy. Right up my alley! Nicely performed. Everything fits and flows well together. The picked acoustic was a great addition to the sound as well.
@shortdan Feb 2022
Oh yeah, I really like this one. The violin knocking percussion has an almost clockwork mechanical type quality to it. The progression is haunting and really engaging. The mix of sounds is perfectly judged for me. Definitely the sort of thing I'd expect to find on the soundtrack of a quirky independent movie! My kind of thing this for sure - lovely stuff :)
@judypie Feb 2022
This is an absolute delight. Whistful, somewhat mysterious, I’m definitely in an avant garde movie with it. So wish I could make something like this!
@willyviste Feb 2022
Ah yes, this is so soothing. Love it! Very good sound selections, and beautiful composition:)
@mahtowin Feb 2022
Sounds like November fog and dust .... I like this month.
