Feb 2022 fawmtronica electronic piano synth
Dramatic sounding intro that was leading into something that I didn't think was too great, so just cut that off for now. This was the 3rd project I began this morning for FAWM, and the first that was coming together fairly well. Getting use to new recording software this year so mixdowns might be a bit naff for a while.

very tense lead in. I like it. I love when the drums come in. Its cinematic. Evocative.
@dukongp100 Feb 2022
I like that for every keyhit on keyboard the bass comes in with double hits, and the extra layers create a dun da da da beat. Good build up
@kanttila Feb 2022
Cool track, it has a nice composition and build.
@bradbrubaker Feb 2022
Yes, this moves forward with that simmering build. Reminds me of some Metropolis Records stuff.
@beat Feb 2022
...and the mix sounds great in my headphones.
@beat Feb 2022
Hi, very promising start. Very! I liked it from go, but when this raw synth came along, oh man... replay!
@radioovermoscow Feb 2022
This is definitely leading into a German metal riff. Nice.

For some reason, this made me think of Type O Negative. It has a very Type O Negative feel to it, which is outstanding! It's haunting, it's almost cathedral like, and it's beautiful. It almost seems like the outro track to after you just beat a video game and you're watching the aftermath of the story you just played through.
Often we don't pay attention to things like that, but occasionally one just strikes you in a way that grabs your attention and refuses to let go. This is that track. Great job!
@chroes Feb 2022
Great reverb, wonderfully spacy. I love how the pulse sets on at about 0:40, it gives an urgency to the track that's only hightened by the drums shortly before 1:00. Really enjoyed this buildup!
@splittybooms Feb 2022
I agree with tesla that this would be a great intro song for your album; stands on its own.
Has great tension, especially with the percussion; cinematic.
Would def have a place in tv/film ala Stranger Things.
Liked all the sounds you used, they all sound really good together.
@intoyourlight Feb 2022
This is great! Inspiring also, I like the buildup and the mood of the whole thing, very dramatic and also hypnotising because of the drums :)
@frey Feb 2022
So eerie! Didn't expect that percussion to kick in around the one minute mark. I would love to hear this in a John Carpenter movie
@rayboneor Feb 2022
I like how this steps along resolutely through a somewhat ominous soundscape, building density as it goes. It's a pretty compelling way to start fawm
@tesla3090 Feb 2022
That's got incredible drama. Honestly, I'm not sure it needs to lead to something else. It's a great intro track. I especially love that heavy bass synth.
@markvi58 Feb 2022
I think that this would be good video game music. Maybe for an rpg or a hack & slash?
