What the ice gets, it does not keep - Shackleton’s Endurance found!

So during this FAWM I read about the latest search to find Shackleton’s Endurance, lost in the Antarctica sea ice more than 100 years ago.
Today I woke to read she has finally been found 3000m under the ice - 100 years to the day Shackleton was buried.

Your song is brilliant. I haven‘t read the story yet, but heard about it. It is yelling for lyrics and a song.
I can not imagine how it was to be in such a expetition - for myself I can honestly say, not even America would be discovered …. maybe not the badest decision, much harm would have been avoided.
I will read the story and think about creating a song … -

Thanks @mahtowin, Would love to hear what you come up with! Such an inspiring tale and provides really rich lyrical ideas. I enjoyed weaving elements of the story and famous quotes from the various crew members into the write. I usually find lyrics the hardest part of songwriting but this one came together really easily. -
