The title says what this thread is, but let me explain why i am asking this question:

I'm now doing the Offbeat show monthly on Dandelion Radio as you can see on this schedule:

So i will be mainly be playing relatively NEW stuff on the show, however my main forté is actually oldies. So i kind of need YOU to tell me your recent releases (with links) as well as any bands etc that you like that are currently releasing stuff (like this year or last will do, it doesn't need to be this month or anything).

Just post the links in this thread, with any comments and so on that you think will hook people, and obviously this will end up being a cool repository for the community of people's recent releases and recommendations as well as a helpful resource for me to get music to play on the radio.

I hope this will therefore be a win-win for everybody!

PS - and your FAWM stuff does count, if you release it publicly through some online platform like bandcamp or maybe soundcloud.

PS - I don't actually use spotify, so if you have a link from elsewhere than spotify, that would be 100% better. I'm hopeful that anyone with an album or release on spotify does also have it available elsewhere.

In April 2021, I did a new full-band release called Perpetual Winter. It is all about mental illness, both standing up to and being nocked down by it. Songs w/o curse words (if that matters) are track 4, 5, 7, and 8.

Mine is also in a similar vein to others - released last September. It's alt-country/americana, with plenty of characters who don't take themselves too seriously. The title track is what my wife really things about me (I'm Free to a Good Home).

FAWM songs are Margharitas in the Snow, Other Side of the Bed and When I Clean the Toilet. All were written last year, perfected and recorded over the summer and released in the fall.

Plead For Mercy was my first recorded foray into songwriting - I tried re-recording it but, as it was recorded in a house I no longer live in on a guitar I sold added to th fact that my voice has changed range a bit, I decided to remix the original.

Stand By Your Heart is my latest single from October 2021. The chorus came out of a dream - I have the croaky morning voiced evidence to prove it. I figured I’d better fill out the rest of the song because you don’t mess around with misplacing your dreams.
