I play piano, acoustic guitar, and uke. I love to sing and would describe my style as clear, belting, bluesy, mezzo-soprano. I have been a songwriter since 1978. Co-chair of Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance (PASA www.pasamusic.org) for over 25 years. I occasionally perform live in the Philadelphia, PA area - both solo and with husband David C. Perry as Winchester/Perry - since 1992. Also an actress. Live in Norristown, PA outside Philly since 1999. Genres include: alt folk, Americana, blues, folk-pop, singer/songwriter, theater, funny songs/parody.

Well, I made it to 11 songs, and I'm pretty proud of myself! It's 4am here on east coast and I squeezed out two more rough ones today. I would have reached the goal of 14 if it were not for having the week from hell last week - mainly work related - and I had no time to do any music for about a week. I missed taking part in any skirmishes over last weekend, darn! Overall, though, I felt so inspired all month and I'm so thankful for this event and this community. I had many breakthroughs with technology and recording, writing with "synch licensing" in mind, and working outside my comfort zone.

@winchperry hey! Nice to see you over here! Thank you, that’s so sweet! The Valentines song I wrote years ago so it doesn’t feel right to post it here, doesn’t count as a 2022 FAWM song. But I’m working on a new song right now that I’m hoping to put up tonight!

Yes, verily I am moderately gifted at using the computer. I upload my songs from Soundcloud and then I get a huge long URL... when I see that everyone has one from FAWM direct I wondered where I can find them for my songs...

Hi Christine, thank you for the kind words! The clock icon appears if you select the "Feast" option when adding/editing a song. That option appears in a list alongside "Favorite" and "Not Safe For Work".
I've been using the Feast option for any song from a skirmish, which is all of mine so far. However, I think this was mistaken, as I just went back to the official description which is slightly different.

> If you "feast" (i.e., write several songs in one sitting), flag your songs accordingly (). That way people can wait to listen to them all together, or optionally filter them out of the jukebox (some fawmers prefer to skip these when giving feedback and short on time).
Not all of my songs have come as multiple in a single session, so I'm going back to remove the Feast option from those now! -

Hi Christine, thanks for your lovely encouraging note! I worked on Sandcastles a bit but never re-recorded it I'm glad you like it! I'd love to collaborate on something new, I am having trouble coming up with any words. Maybe I've got no songs left in me, I don't know. I was on time for a skirmish prompt last night but I couldn't think of anything and was amazed with the songs everyone made in an hour!

I've just started to get interested in glass lately, so much so that I'm spending money I shouldn't on things that I don't have space for (no Delft, yet). So in an attempt to circumvent a glass (and other things) avalanche, I started an online shop of fancy things to thin the herd. I enjoyed Holland when I was there (Just Amsterdam for a few days). -

I know. @theodamus I don't know what else to try. I may just make the donation to fawm so I can post on the fawm site. I was meaning to do that anyway. I am pasting in the share like from soundcloud and I have done it this way successfully for 2 other years. So, I'm stumped.
