2017 - 14 songs, including 1 collaboration
2018 - 19 songs, including 8 collaborations
2019 - 25 songs, including 5 collaborations
2020 - 28 songs(3 were lyrics only), including 7 collaborations
2021 - 23 songs, including 4 collaborations (I had to stop on February 22 due to illness)
I am currently recording everything on a TASCAM DP-008EX and then importing it into Reaper.
All of my acoustic songs are done on my Tanglewood acoustic guitar though occasionally I will use my Yamaha Guitalele. For my softer, dreamier electric stuff I use my Tangelwood hollow body guitar. For the the more aggressive electric I will use my Fender Squire Strat. I have ukulele as well as a stylaphone which is used very sparingly.
I play some cajon so that appears from time to time as does the shaker and tambourine.
I also have small midi keyboard and have been learning to program samples to be able to experiment more and round out my sound.
I bit off WAY more than I could chew last year and am going to be more mindful of what I take on this year to prevent having unfinished songs this time around.

Great! FANTASTIC! Thanks.
Take a good look at the forum post with the rules (they've changed) if you're inspired to something, https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12981/ Then drop me an emai and run your ideaa by me for a green light (there's a kind of narrative growing and I'd like to make sure what you're doing fits. and/or you might like a little prompt idea to guide something.... I got a little beauty idea you might want to do, or in addition..... Great! Yay!
another GIMME15, maybe?
if there was just one more GIMME15 would you play again? asking for a friend.
Thank you for listening
Lazy Morning was a fun little exercise! Glad you liked it!
Thanks for listening to Second Chance! I found it difficult to find a place of honesty to write from, since I am privileged to (so far) have experienced very little of these kinds of hardship. I am really glad to hear that you think there is some honesty in it.
Ayyyy! Look forward to this corpsy thingy…my email is aburozskiwork@gmail
Thanks for the comment on 'Fire Inside'
There is music to guardian angel here https://fawm.org/songs/136251/
You're welcome :)
You got a fan. Read the comments on "She's Contemplating" :)
Thanks for the listen and comment on 'Lost and Found'!
Thanks for the comment on my collab with Tams 'Running Out of Time'!
You're welcome! Listening to all of your songs I must say that you had a very strong year. Hope you will turn some of these songs into a final recording.
Thanks for your comment on "Take The Black". I just had to team up with these dudes again after the fun we had last year. I'm looking forward to produce it but it will a lot of work!
Dear Catherine,
Thank you so much for your comments and collaboration! I am so grateful for your music and all of your contributions to the FAWM community! I appreciate all that you do and all the talents you share! Maybe we can do a live collab during 50/90!
Glad you liked "The Getaway Pigeons" I am so happy with how that track turned out. @zeekle1998 threw so much awesome into that instrumental, it was an absolute playground for vocals.
Hey Catherine, I actually somewhat politely declined to wrap up morph1 as I listened to all the tracks up to this point. No worries here and I hope that all is well. At least as well as well can be my friend :) .
Hi there :) I am going to post your SuperSkirmish thread asap as there are only 37 minutes until it starts. I'll put your name on it, so you just let me know the topic when the time comes and I'll pop it in. Amanda x
Go for it! Thanks!
Great! If you can't get to them, that's okay too.
It's late in the game but I wondered about this https://fawm.org/songs/134591/
Wow, seems like your timer is your best friend. I work best when I have plenty of time, cause I usually finish long before deadline. I sometimes also correct too much... but I keep different versions of my project files, so I can jump back into the previous versions. My ears need a rest. And sometimes I ask friends if something's wrong in the arrangement. And thanks for the comment!
Thanks for checking out One Week Every Year. I appreciate your positive comments.
You are sweet. Thank you! Love your songs!
My song for the morph challenge is done! Your turn! :) https://fawm.org/songs/135050/
I'm so glad I asked you to do Razor Sharp!
Catherine, thanks for putting KBG out of it's WONG misery. I sent you one lyric, Last Call, but if another strikes your fancy, let me know. Or tell me what to write about.
Wacha, Thanks for commenting on In Love All Alone---two weeks ago! I responded to you ON MY OWN PAGE! Rookie mistake! Sorry! Didn't want you to think I was ignoring you!
Thanks for listening to the Shores of Donadea and leaving your kind comments. I struggle with vocals but FAWM is helping me get lots of practice which can only help. Once again thank you for suggesting I join.
Dropped you an email.
Thanks so much for your generous comments about Time and Time Again. Yes, it was a fun collaboration. I played it for my wife who said that the lyrics (thematically) sounded like something I might write (which probably prompted my being drawn to the lyrics). I'm glad you enjoyed it and appreciate your checking it out!
Thanks for your kind comments on Hereditary. I suspect that hours of listening to Blood on the Tracks in my teens has influenced me more than I thought.
Thanks for listening and commenting "Pedal to metal". Recording this song has been a lot of fun, but I have no idea if the final version happens, because the most important roles are still vacant. I can play the chords on guitar, but definately not the strumming pattern with all these stops :-(
When I produced electro, I also peeked through my sample libaries Sometimes I found some inspiration there. Bust most of the time I waited for a melody to come.
I'm glad you enjoyed "At your command". Thanks a lot for your comment! Yes it's the first time I worked with weird time signatures and I love how it turned out. I am not sure about a re-instrumentation cause playing these heavy palm mute riffs as tight as my VSTs is close to impossible. The intro riff sounds a bit awkward but in the later sections you don't notice the synth guitars. The brasses are multiple layers of tuba and horns. Guess it happened because the lyrics have something from military?!
Thanks for your kind comments on I Don't Want to talk :)
Thank you so much for the comment and watch! I’ve been really enjoying your stuff this month :)
Thx Catherine I am glad you the Road is Long...I do like the blues!
Great! Can't wait to hear it!
Thanks for listening to "Enough"! I was so tired when I did that; I guess it's a lullaby-to-self as much as anything!
I wondered if you might be interested in my Razor Sharp?
Thank you! I think this will be a banging track when it's done :)
I've updated "How are you". Take a look, if you wanna!
True. I'll just get creative :)
Thanks. I've started watching the 2019 one but so far the acting sucks.:)
Thanks for your comment on Music from the Other Room. Much appreciated.
My movie Disappearance is the one from 2019, right?
7th fret? I never used more than 4th. Wowzers. Thanks thanks for the comment on the blues draft. I'm still trying to find my way...
Thank you so much for the kind words about my songs "Freedom" and my movie title piece "Disintegration".
Your comment on "She's contemplating" means a lot to me! Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to working with you :)
Thank you, Catherine - you rock!
Thanks for the comment on “Left Ankle Blues”!
Oh, thanks for dropping by. I enjoyed the sound quality of Mulholland Runaway btw... as a person that does some film/tv stuff ..I like to hear production qualities as well as songwriting/artistry... David
Seems like my music is running wild these days. Maybe it's because I suppressed writing new songs for 10 months because I was so busy with the album (I'm still not done yet). I have no idea about the style of the next song... and when all the noise in my head is going to stop.
Should I upload the rip off then? Maybe tomorrow... Too many songs at a time are a bit intimidating.
Your skirmish promot has been a lot of fun! So many different ideas and styles. Thanks for organising!
Thank you Catherine for your kind & thoughtful comments on my first FAWM offering! I really appreciate it!
I'm done. Check your mailbox :)
Thanks for your comments on "Diplomacy" and "Dorian Gray"! I'm glad you enjoyed the demos. Guess I was just in the right mood to rock out xD Let's see who we'll get as vocalist. I received my first on "Diplomacy" today. Hopefully both will finish as full production, cause I love punchy upbeat stuff!
I'm working on your rip-off. It's a tough exersize for me! Would you like to listen first before I upload? Could take a while though.
Hey, Catherine, you're really rolling ahead, have a great fawm! - Andrew
Hello Catherine... Yes, Deena is here...as is Vaughan. David Graham

Thx Catherine...i do like playing my Martin it does all the work for me.
Hi

Hi, I loved your National Ukulele Day tribute! Keep up the good work!
Would you mind if I try to rip-off your style? This would be a real challenge for me!
Hey Catherine - thanks for the recommendation :-)

Happy FAWMing!!!!
Hey, thanks for your comment! You've got some good stuff to, I especially liked Reflection from you SC. I like the drums and the cool vibe with the whole track:)
Thank you for the movie title challenge. Funny thing is, I started watching my movie last night. Reminds me how super cool Dolly Parton is. Thanks for that.
Hi, Catherine! Thank you for taking the time to listen to "Step One", and for leaving such a nice comment!

Great, do you see the FAWMlab invitation?
Happy FAWM! Looking forward to hearing you again :)
You definitely should bust out that stylophone! What a cool gift. I’ve since listened to one and think it sounds like old school Zelda. Love it. Happy experimenting :)
Happy FAWMing @wacha really looking forward to hearing your new FAWM songs.
Thanks for the mention! I'm happy to hear that this song means a lot to you and that I could help you :)
Looking forward to listening to your music, Catherine!
G'day! Thanks for reaching out on my forum post. I'd love to interview you. If it's alright, I'll flick you an email either later tonight or tomorrow with more details so we can arrange a time. Happy FAWM
Hey Catherine, I’m so happy you downloaded AND liked it. It’s a keeper, for sure, one that I’m learning to play again and hopefully perform. I’m looking forward to hearing you rock out in February, and I hope the album raises lots of money. Keep doing what you do.
Lets. Do. This.
Welcome back! I hope you have a great FAWM!
