I started writing songs about 20 years ago and have been very inconsistent with it ever since. When bad things have happened to me I've frequently written a lot more stuff as a form of self soothing, which usually brings out some cool stuff, but I would like to be more consistent about writing in general so I can get better. This album writing month feels like a nice fire under my bootie to get things going again. It seems like a really nice, supportive community here too. Y'all seem like some lovely humans!
