Influences: mainstream jazz
ZeCoop's and Guatecoop's dad. Occasionally provide lyric ideas for them. 85 yr old with no musical talent other than buying instruments and paying for lessons for my offspring. Retired. Have a great marriage of more than 64 years to my high school sweetheart.
I first started writing lyrics in 2011 when I heard ZeCoop was going to do this crazy challenge, and I just kept writing more. I officially started participating and posting lyrics to FAWM in 2018 and have enjoyed the collaborations with the musicians, as well as the supportive and friendly community here. Would like to look into collaborations (lyrics from me - music from you) with others.

Re: sports mania. My own alma mater (Rice) hasn't been a powerhouse in football since just after WW2. I do still proudly wear the t-shirt from their College World Series win. These days, I'm more likely to go watch the local Division III baseball team or women's club rugby than to look at anything sports-related on TV: big money has removed most of the joy in it for me.
