Heya! I'm Lesley, and I'm a 22 going on 23-year-old singer/songwriter from the Los Angeles area. This year marks an entire decade of regular music making for me which is kind of mega-freaky. I've been aware of FAWM since 2014 when my bandmate (@jji7skyline) turned me onto it, and I started partaking in it every year starting in 2015. Last year I even met another bandmate on here (@riffraff1990) and we're about to record our first album together, just in time for FAWM!
And when I'm not listening to or making music, I occasionally partake in writing about it! That's right, if you couldn't tell by my usage of such flowery vernacular as "mega-freaky", I'm a semi-professional journalist! At the moment my big project is an official biographical book about a fairly notable band of the 90's indie rock sphere.
