Glad you liked my "Walking in the Hills". Like you, the access to the hills allowed as sport during lockdown was a life saver. I go out with a group of fellow pensioners regularly and it keeps me fit.

  • @kiffa Mar 2022

A super-late thank you for checking out and commenting on "Dinosaurs"! It's much appreciated.

  • @liz561  Mar 2022

Many thanks for your kind words on my song Photographs. I appreciate the encouragement!

  • @nadine Mar 2022

    Du hast Post!

  • @outinpublicdrummer  Mar 2022

    thanks for the feedback! :)

  • @katestantonsings  Mar 2022

Fellow stylophone, it's been a fun FAWM! Thank you so much for the comments. I appreciate your feedback.

  • @nadine Mar 2022

I wouldn't survive in the woods for too long cause my talents are rather analytics, mathematics, fine art.

  • @nadine Mar 2022

I really suck at everything handicraft, woodworking, soldering... I am not even able to restring my guitar without hurting myself! So if you want me to play instruments or draw, you shouldn't give me tools. I most likely cut my fingers or destroy xD

  • @nadine Feb 2022

    Challenge accepted

  • @nadine Feb 2022

  • @aflinner  Feb 2022

Thanks so much for listening to my German song, I appreciate and value your feedback. Any tips on the pronunciation? I may rerecord it sometime, and I’d love to really get it right. :-)

  • @bithprod  Feb 2022

    Sure.

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Yes I was sleeping when you commented. I'm glad you enjoyed!

BTW I received the vocals for our epic collab. I'll mix this weekend.

  • @jayjay  Feb 2022

@soh I originally had the cell block tango in my head before I wrote. But I can see with a bit of fiddling it could go Goth and/or metal lol

  • @bithprod  Feb 2022

    Sounds good!

  • @bithprod  Feb 2022

Yay, here we go again! As I recall, you did Coffee and Drunk On The Moon in 2020 and 2018 respectively, so the timing looks perfect. ;) Anything particular you would want me to write about? I'm a bit stuck at the moment, as I've already written about "everything" through the years, so I'd be happy to receive some input.

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Google Trends doesnt show a peak yet. And I see no collision with FAWM. Hmmm!

  • @lowhum Feb 2022

This is a video of a tune with said guitar - trying to emulate the sound of a chinese qin:

  • @katestantonsings  Feb 2022

Hello Stylophone Twinsie! Thank you for the kind comment :) Gonna delve into your music now...

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Keine Ursache.

Und zum Song "Under the Sahara sand" Herzlicchsten Dank Dir

  • @ampersandman  Feb 2022

    Danke für deinen Kommentar! :)

  • @metalfoot  Feb 2022

I've never actually listened to the Pixies though I've heard of them. Thanks for the kind words!

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Thanks a lot! Oh yes he turned the song into a real banger!

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Wegen "Under" - Geil, danke!

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Apropos Kollabo... was macht das Intro?

  • @sapient  Feb 2022

    Hey there!
I'm done with my part for Corpse Amsterdam. As you are both the final player and the stitcher, I'm going to email you the 10s snip from the end of my part.
I'm also going to send by WeTransfer the whole of my bit. There will be an MP3 showing how I blended it with the end of @loveonamixtape's bit, and a WAV without that for you to use in the mix.
Let me know if that works or if you want to have full stems!

  • @sorby69  Feb 2022

Hey sph! Thanks for your kind words about our corpse song! :)

  • @sjbatavia  Feb 2022

Thanks for the comment on My Red Haired Girl. In my head I was hearing claw hammer and fiddle but had to settle for a banjo ukulele.

  • @mikegtz  Feb 2022

HI Stephan, I'm going to be working on lyrics tonight for our collab song. I will lock you in once I am done...oops, I repeated myself.

  • @mikegtz  Feb 2022

sph, I am going to work on lyrics for our collab song tonight. I will lock you in with the song when I am done. Feel free to change around lyrics or make any other suggestions,

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Great ears! Yes, I created that tone using the fry register doing whispers. I'm not able to do a real growl or fry. I know how to get into the register, but I'm not able to "speak" or "sing" without sounding very bad. So I tried to whisper, it sounded super heavy and inspired me to use it for a song.

  • @middlec  Feb 2022

Nice to see you here again, too!

  • @nadine Feb 2022

Thanks for your comments! I guess I was just in the right mood yesterday. Cynical, angry, joyful... No idea how I was able to sing that low xD

  • @beat  Feb 2022

    ;].

  • @complexissimple Feb 2022

I don't have a stylophone, but I may be able to do something with chiptune?

  • @gbg2016  Jan 2022

Good to "see" you again. Have a fabulous FAWM :)

  • @mikegtz  Jan 2022

Hi sph, I’m your collab partner. If you have an idea for song lyrics, let me know and I will get the ball rolling.

  • @intoyourlight  Jan 2022

Hallo und danke fürs willkommen-heißen! :) ich wünsche dir ganz viel Spaß!

  • @resonut123 Jan 2022

I saw Chris Whitley once solo at a small venue near me. It was great, it was about a year-and-a-half before he passed away.
I saw Jonas Hellborg play with John McLaughlin outdoors at a free Montreux Jazz Festival many years ago.
These are all inspiring musicians to me, but of course I sound nothing like them, however their influences might seep just a little bit into my songwriting and playing?

  • @resonut123 Jan 2022

Of course I liked Karn's playing in Japan and on Dali's car.
Hey I listened to your Karn Bounce on SoundCloud. You got that tone and style down, sounds great!!!

  • @resonut123 Jan 2022

Yeah, got to see Mick Karn twice.
The Torn shows: Cloud about Mercury and then Polytown: with Mick Karn & Terry Bozzio were Excellent. Very accomplished musicians for sure.

  • @acousticmaddie  Jan 2022

Hey and Happy FAWM to you!

  • @crisp1  Jan 2022

Wishing you a great FAWM, Stephan!

  • @loveonamixtape  Jan 2022

Hey, hi again! And a happy FAWM to you!

  • @cts  Jan 2022

Whattup, my man! Good to see you back in the community. Happy FAWMing. I'll be around.

  • @beat  Jan 2022

Auf einen wilden Februar. Freu mich schon auf deine neuen Tracks.

  • @chroes  Jan 2022

Hi there, how nice to meet you again! Looking forward to all that magic that happens during FAWM, like your songs!

  • @sailingmagpie  Jan 2022

    Hope you're back this year!

  • @headfirstonly  Jan 2022

And I am *so* jealous that your avatar is a Stylophone, by the way. That's class.

  • @headfirstonly  Jan 2022

Hello once again, sph! Let's do this!

  • @nadine Jan 2022

  • @metalfoot  Jan 2022

    Have a great FAWM!

  • @fuzzy  Jan 2022

Haha yeah, those fake band names are fun!
(Although I'm not sure that I like that my last contribution for the year to the 50/90 site is the fake band "Farticide". :) )

  • @ampersandman  Jan 2022

Alle wieder da! Möge die Muse mit dir sein.
