Unfortunately the outside world decided to interfere in a brutal way with FAWM for me so I am afraid that there is little hope for a happy ending :(

ref soundtoys: except for sie-Q which I paid 1/4 pricce for at a sale, all of my soundtoys came in promotional free or $5 deals. But they're a pain because of the iLok which falls over every now and again.

Oh I see. I grew up listening to Laurie Anderson and Kraftwerk so I'm probably not great at spotting when someone's actually a robot, at least on record.

When stuff is available, I don't have to invent a sound. I guess I'm fond of a certain sound because of what I liked in my teenager time, which is mostly British-oriented and some American bands like Grandaddy and Weezer. The guitar plugins I like, I think, are related to the 90s era.

Lol this made my day. I've been to Sweden some years ago, and I've seen a lot of accents but definately not that. I don't even know how to pronounce it. It was hard enough to understand that the "kärlek" and "kötbullar" is NOT pronunced as any German would do!

Imagine if there was a device to translate images into music. What would images sound like? Take your profile picture for example, a guitar amp. What would that sound like? Would it sound like feedback? Would it be screechy? No idea. Maybe answer those questions this FAWM? You can invent IMAGE ROCK lol :D
