My first FAWM was 2013 and it was a great boost. I managed 14 songs that year, but not [yet] again. I came to songwriting after playing lots of others' music, of various genres, never feeling like I was being truly authentic. I finally broke through my perfectionism, and I keep learning over and over that the best songs come when I get myself out of the way.
