Singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh, but in love with all kinds of Americana, sung in my own voice (hence SIASA - songs in a Scottish accent).
Two songs from my FAWM experience are now available as a mini-EP - 'Empire' and 'Still Life.' Either buy them or sign up to my occasional email list for a free download code - either way the money will go to Ukraine: see https://andrewfergusonassiasa.bandcamp.com/album/still-life

Thank you so much for the kind words on two of my pieces. I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you liked them.
Thanks again for listening to my stuff. Really appreciate it. I will definitely take you up on that beer if ever I'm across the pond. Cheers, see you next year.
Thanks for your last comment! Re the guitar plugin, it has its limitations and sometimes I get very frustrated because it won't do what I think it should. I've had to do the music first and fit lyrics into that because I just could not replicate what i heard in my head with the computer. It'd be much much simpler to understand and have practiced playing but my level is so low it's not possible. Maybe next year.
Thanks for the great comments, I appreciate it.
Ta for listening, Andrew. Always love to get a glimpse of what people are hearing, and I seem to get Elvis Costello quite a lot on here. Which I find interesting (and hugely complimentary, of course). Blue Rose Code is a new one though. I honestly belief Ross is one of the best songwriters Scotland's produced in years. So ta for that!
Hey, same here, those are some intriguing influences you've got too! Hope it goes great!
Welcome to FAWM!
Welcome! Type your lyrics out on your songpages too, for benefit of us eardeaf sassenachs!
Welcome, and happy FAWMing!
Andrew! Great to see you here. It's an excellently supportive place to just focus on making music. Nae crits, just keeping each other going and writing tunes. And now you've advertised the accent, we'll be expecting to hear it!
If you've got questions, feel free to ask - or post a hingwy on the forums. But mostly, just do you what you do, and have fun. Looking forward to hearing what you get up to!
